Mission
To champion exceptional contemporary artists from Türkiye and present their work with museum-quality standards — building enduring relationships between artists, collectors, and the spaces their work inhabits.
About AYCO
A contemporary gallery founded in Istanbul, connecting Turkish artists with collectors, designers, and architects worldwide.
Our Story
AYCO Gallery was founded in 2018 in Istanbul's Nişantaşı district with a singular conviction: contemporary art from Türkiye deserves a platform of international stature — presented with the same rigor, restraint, and care found in the world's leading institutions.
What began as a private viewing room has grown into a curatorial programme spanning painting, sculpture, and works on paper. We represent artists whose practices are rooted in material integrity and cultural specificity, yet speak to a global audience of collectors, designers, and architects.
Today, AYCO operates across Istanbul, London, and New York — connecting studio practice with considered space, and every acquisition with long-term curatorial perspective.
To champion exceptional contemporary artists from Türkiye and present their work with museum-quality standards — building enduring relationships between artists, collectors, and the spaces their work inhabits.
To be recognised among the world's most trusted contemporary galleries — where curatorial excellence, provenance integrity, and editorial presentation set the benchmark for how art from Türkiye is collected and experienced internationally.

Founder
Before establishing AYCO Gallery, Vieri spent fifteen years in curatorial and advisory roles across Milan, London, and Istanbul. His approach is shaped by a belief that the finest contemporary art demands patience — in selection, in presentation, and in the relationships that sustain a collection over decades.
“Art should not merely adorn a space — it should define it.”
